Re2O, CellREDM or Rejuran: Choosing a Skin Booster for Your Skin Concern
Not sure which skin booster is right for you? Explore Re2O Fine for eye-area texture and fine lines, its differences from CellREDM and Rejuran, and GU Clinic’s same pricing for Korean and international patients.
For under-eye fine lines and crepey texture, we recommend Re2O Fine first at GU Clinic. Its particles are finer than those of original Re2O, and we mainly use it on thin, delicate skin around the eyes.
Re2O Fine is an ECM booster based on human-derived dermal matrix, while Rejuran Healer is a polynucleotide (PN) booster derived from salmon DNA. Their ingredients and mechanisms differ. For eye-area texture and fine lines, we recommend Re2O Fine before CellREDM and assess whether your skin also needs Rejuran or another treatment.
Identifying the area and concern you want to treat makes choosing a product easier.
Re2O Fine is still offered by relatively few clinics in Korea
Re2O Fine is the fine-particle product introduced after original Re2O. It is still offered by relatively few clinics in Korea. At GU Clinic, we offer Fine and mainly use it around the eyes. If you would like treatment during your visit to Seoul, ask for a Re2O Fine consultation before booking.
Start with your main concern
Your main concern | Treatment recommendation or assessment | Reason | What we assess at consultation |
|---|---|---|---|
Under-eye fine lines or crepey texture | Re2O Fine — our first recommendation | Fine-particle ECM formulation for delicate skin | Whether texture, pigment or volume loss is causing the concern |
Texture concerns beyond the eye area | Examination of the area before choosing treatment | Treatment scope depends on the skin and area | Whether the Fine formulation is appropriate for the proposed area |
Thin, fatigued or crepey-looking skin | Rejuran Healer | A PN booster focused on supporting skin regeneration | Expected reactions and recovery time |
Fine lines, with a preference for gradual, natural-looking volume | Juvelook | PDLLA encourages your skin's own collagen production over time | How long it may take to notice a change |
Several concerns at once | A combined or step-by-step plan | Different boosters address different aspects of skin aging | The order, interval and overall length of the course |
At consultation, we identify the cause of your concern and assess your skin before choosing the treatment area, product and sessions.
How Re2O Fine and Rejuran differ
Re2O Fine: an ECM booster we mainly use around the eyes. Re2O Fine uses human-derived dermal matrix and has finer particles than original Re2O. Thin eye-area skin makes product selection and placement especially important. CellREDM is also an ECM booster; for eye-area texture and fine lines, we recommend Re2O Fine first. For the product differences, see Re2O vs CellREDM: Key Differences.
Rejuran: a PN booster. Rejuran is made with polynucleotides derived from salmon DNA. Rather than supplying matrix components, it's used to support the skin's natural repair and regeneration. Its ingredients and mechanism differ from Re2O Fine, so we choose according to your skin condition and treatment goals.
Juvelook and exosome boosters. Juvelook uses PDLLA to stimulate collagen production gradually, while exosome boosters are used to help care for damaged skin and support moisture balance. We offer both treatments and decide whether to combine them after assessing your skin.
If your skin is starting to look crepey
When skin begins to look thinner and crepey in your late 30s or 40s, there's usually more than one cause. A gradual loss of collagen and elastin, dehydration and a weakened skin barrier often appear together, which is why a single booster rarely addresses everything on its own.
We assess skin thickness, hydration and elasticity. For eye-area texture and fine lines, we recommend Re2O Fine first and add other treatments according to your additional concerns:
Re2O Fine as our first recommendation for eye-area texture and fine lines
Rejuran to support regeneration
Juvelook for gradual collagen support
If you need several treatments, we explain the order and number of visits.
Can these boosters be combined?
We combine treatments according to your skin condition. Whether to treat on the same day or space sessions apart depends on your skin’s response and each product’s treatment course. At consultation, we explain the order, sessions and expected progress.
If you are visiting Seoul for a short stay, share your travel dates early. We explain which treatments fit within your stay and schedule any follow-up visits separately.
Questions to ask during your consultation
What's causing my main concern, and which booster addresses that cause?
Is my skin suitable for the product you're recommending, and which areas would be treated?
If you're recommending more than one booster, in what order and how far apart?
How many sessions will I need in total, and what does the quoted price include?
What reactions should I expect, and what should I avoid while traveling?
Frequently asked questions
Is Rejuran an ECM booster like Re2O and CellREDM?
No. Rejuran is a PN (polynucleotide) booster derived from salmon DNA, while Re2O and CellREDM are ECM boosters made from human-derived dermal matrix. We assess your skin before choosing a product and deciding whether to combine treatments.
Which booster is used around the eyes?
We recommend Re2O Fine first for eye-area texture and fine lines. It has finer particles than original Re2O, and we mainly use it around the eyes. For dark circles caused by pigmentation, visible vessels or deeper hollows, we identify the cause and plan treatment separately.
How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions and interval are decided after examining the treatment area and your skin. Ask for the specific Re2O Fine schedule recommended by GU Clinic, including follow-up visits if you are traveling.
Can I consult in English before my visit?
Yes. You can talk with our team in English about skin boosters, including Re2O Fine and Rejuran, via WhatsApp or Instagram DM before your trip. Tell us your main concerns. Sending photos also helps us prepare for your consultation. We reply during Korean business hours, so please allow for the time difference. English support is also available during your consultation at the clinic.
