How to Verify Authentic Ultherapy PRIME and Thermage FLX in Seoul

How to Verify Authentic Ultherapy PRIME and Thermage FLX in Seoul

Learn how to check Ultherapy PRIME credentials and Thermage FLX tip authentication in Korea, and what to ask before treatment in Seoul.

October 22nd, 2026

Before booking Ultherapy PRIME or Thermage FLX in Seoul, confirm the exact device model and clinic branch. At your appointment, ask to review the documentation for the device and supplies used in your treatment. For Ultherapy PRIME, check the provider listing and ask about certification and real-time imaging. For Thermage FLX, check the treatment tip through the official Korean authentication process.

A provider listing identifies a clinic, while a tip code relates to a treatment supply. Check both the clinic information and the documentation for your visit before agreeing to treatment.

What should you check before booking?

Ask for the exact treatment name and model. “Ultrasound lifting” and “radiofrequency tightening” describe types of treatment; they do not identify Ultherapy PRIME or Thermage FLX by themselves.

Thermage FLX

How to identify the new tip for your treatment and verify its authentication code through the official process

Bring the treatment name from your booking message. If the clinic proposes a different model, ask it to explain the change before you decide whether to proceed.

How do you check Ultherapy PRIME authenticity?

Use these three checks:

  1. Confirm the clinic and model. Search the official Korean provider directory by clinic name or address, then check the specific branch and PRIME designation. Korean and English display options are available; ask the clinic for its Korean name if needed. The directory provides clinic information, not a manufacturer endorsement or proof of the supplies used at your visit.

  2. Ask about certification and imaging. Ask to see the provider's certification and have the clinician explain how real-time ultrasound imaging is used during treatment. A static image does not show live visualization, and you do not need to interpret the ultrasound image yourself.

  3. Check what the documentation identifies. Ask about proof such as a seal or certificate and how it relates to your treatment. Documentation can differ by country, so a sticker photo from elsewhere is not enough to determine what you should receive in Korea.

Planning a visit to GU Clinic? You can ask in English about the treatment you are considering and which authenticity documents you can review at your appointment.

How do you verify a Thermage FLX tip in Korea?

Solta Medical Korea identifies the Thermage treatment tip as a single-use device for one patient. Ask to see the packaging and how the tip intended for your treatment is identified before the procedure begins.

The official Korean genuine-tip guide describes these steps:

  1. Carefully remove the silver hologram protective sticker. The purple sticker underneath may lift with it.

  2. Remove the purple double-layer sticker to reveal the authentication QR code.

  3. Scan the code with a mobile phone camera, or use the manual code-entry option on mobile.

  4. Enter the requested additional information to complete authentication.

The guide says QR scanning is unavailable on a desktop computer. Use the manufacturer's current instructions with the clinic's help, and check that you have reached the official Thermage Korea service before entering information. Keep the confirmation with your treatment records.

This process checks tip authenticity. You will still need the doctor to explain the treatment area, planned coverage and why Thermage is appropriate for your concern.

What if a code or document cannot be verified?

Ask the clinic to help you check the code, the document and the official website. A scanning or entry problem alone does not establish that a product is counterfeit. If the explanation remains unclear, contact the manufacturer through its official site and postpone treatment until your questions are resolved.

If you have already had treatment, retain the receipt and any documentation, and ask the clinic to identify the device and supplies used. A lack of visible results by itself also cannot establish whether the treatment was authentic; authenticity and treatment response are separate questions.

What should you ask at GU Clinic?

We offer Ultherapy PRIME and Thermage FLX at GU Clinic Gangnam. Before visiting, you can contact us through WhatsApp or Instagram DM in English to discuss the treatment you are considering and ask which authenticity documents you can review at your appointment.

During the doctor's consultation, discuss your main concern, previous procedures and travel dates. Alongside authenticity, ask why the proposed treatment and coverage suit your face, what side effects to expect and how to arrange follow-up during your stay.

For more on the consultation itself, see our guide to choosing a clinic for Ultherapy PRIME.
